You might be saying at this point, “but I thought Jesus died on Good Friday?” Due to traditions of men (Colossians 2:8), most have been taught incorrectly that Jesus was crucified on “Good Friday.” The Scripture has a clear layout of the days and shows it to have actually occurred on Wednesday. The reason this is important is for the fulfillment of Scripture, which states Jesus would be 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth (Matthew 12:40).
